- Confirmed with Bluray "300" set to LPCM that this works

- Confirmed with 6.1 "Crank", but receiver did show 7.1
- User reports that the 7.1 may be just what the receiver always shows, as they do not have other experience with LPCM in.

- Not sure if this is accurate, but 5000 is set to PCM
- Dolby Digital is picked up by the receiving end
- This seems like an error, as it seems that the 5000 should have passed only 5.1 PCM internally decoded from Dolby Digital Plus

- Confirmed with "300" and Integra 9.8
- Shows multichannel in, but only Front Left, Front Right indicators
- This should be considered a bug

- Reports are that receivers which indicate "Dolby Digital Plus" when fed by a Toshiba XA2 do not display this when fed with the same disc from the BD-UP5000
- Instead, it displays "Dolby Digital"

Dolby TrueHD
- Reports are that receivers which indicate "Dolby TrueHD" when fed by other player do not display this when fed with the same disc from the BD-UP5000
- Furthermore, reports are that in this mode, audio heard is two channel only.

DTS-HD High Resolution Audio
- Passes 5.1 DTS, but has also been reported to light up an ES light.

- Reports are that receivers which have indicators for DTS-HD Master Audio do not display this when feed from the BD-UP5000
